The software designers try to accommodate everybody and by the time they are done the app is a monster. An average user probably uses 10 to 20 percent of the features (not all of them the same 10%-20%) and the rest if just useless for them. But because of all the features the user interface becomes a maze that it takes time to learn and understand.
